Pharmacy
At the North Shore-LIJ Health System, our team of pharmacy professionals helps to establish therapeutic regimen, improve medication safety and educate both patients and staff to ensure the best possible care. Our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants are involved in the following specialties: centralized hospital pharmacy services, unit-based satellite pharmacy operations (critical care, pediatrics), community outreach and education programs, drug information services, oncology/chemotherapy, IV admixture programs, patient safety initiatives and research and investigational studies.
As part of our Pharmaceutical Team, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses and members of the interdisciplinary team. You will also have many opportunities to use your knowledge, expertise and clinical judgment and to pursue a career path in several different areas.
