Rehabilitation
Our multi-disciplinary Rehabilitation Team includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Recreational Therapists. Collaboratively, this team delivers quality care to patients across a broad range of specialties such as orthopedics, amputation and joint replacement, strokes and neurological impairments, traumatic brain and/or spinal injuries, sports injuries, oncology, tumors and medical/surgical and cardiac rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation facilities include:
- Institute for Orthopedic Science - provides multidisciplinary care for every facet of the musculoskeletal system
- Harvey Cushing Institutes of Neuroscience - includes twelve neurological clinics specializing in the care of strokes, brain tumors, neurodegenerative disease, pain and more
- Orzac Center for Care and Rehabilitation - offers care for the long/short term rehabilitative needs of adults
- The Stern Family Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation - provides niche services for short-term and skilled nursing patients who have orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, acquired brain injury and general medical/surgical diagnoses
- Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation Services (S.T.A.R.S.) - offers outpatient sports, orthopedic, hand, neurological and spine rehabilitation in a state-of-the-art atmosphere
- Transitions of Long Island - a comprehensive neuro-rehabilitation program for individuals with acquired neurological injuries
- Regional Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation - caters to patients with strokes, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other brain-related disorders
- Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Institute - helps patients of all ages to overcome physical limitations due to scoliosis, joint disease, other orthopedic conditions or neurological, cardiac and pulmonary diseases
- Home Care Network - provides compassionate rehabilitative services in the home setting
