Pediatric Care Nurse Fellowship Program at Cohen Children’s Hospital

The program includes three major components: (1) patient simulation experiences through the use of digitally-enhanced, anatomically-correct mannequins such as Sim Baby, Sim Man and Medi-Child; (2) didactic experiences and professional seminars including comprehensive pediatric assessment, developmentally focused pediatric patient care management, interdisciplinary collaboration and family centered care; and (3) direct care assignments that include hands-on experience working with infants and children under the guidance of a Master and Associate fellow nurse.
