At North Shore-LIJ, philanthropy plays an integral role in enhancing and expanding our buildings, purchasing the latest technology, conducting groundbreaking clinical research and much more. Our fundraising initiatives take place through our Foundation department, which includes a team dedicated to building awareness and raising funds for various hospitals, facilities, programs and services throughout the health system. One such initiative -- our Annual Giving Campaign -- enables individuals to provide an unrestricted gift that we can put to immediate use wherever it’s needed most.
Over the next five years, dramatic changes will take place throughout the organization, all designed with one goal in mind: to transform the way we deliver care to our patients. We are currently investing in major projects including the Katz Women’s Hospital, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, and Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center of NY.
