Practice Business Manager (Billing)- Cardiology

The mission of our Practice Business Manager is to oversee all non-clinical operations and staff. In this role, you will manage, plan and organize the Practice in a fiscally responsible manner. You will be responsible for developing, recommending and ensuring implementation of operational goals and objectives. You must be able to ensure operating compliance with government, hospital, insurance and agency regulations and requirements. It is important that you maintain efficient and positive communication with team members in order to create a more pleasant environment.


Responsibilities include:
1. Oversees and manages all daily operations and non-clinical staff of the Practice.
2. Recommends, implements and adheres to approved operating goals and objectives.
3. Reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
4. Manages the Practice in a fiscally responsible manner.

• Oversees the billing and collection of monies generated from physician's services.
• Performs revenue cycle management and revenue management for the Practice.
• Performs fee schedule analysis.
• Manages reimbursement.
• Develops and manages the annual operating budget.
• Manages and implements staffing requirements

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Medical Administration, Business, or Accounting as normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum five (5) years progressively responsible related work experience including leadership to ensure familiarity with third-party reimbursement and billing systems, financial management of a medical , budget preparation, and automated report generation.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of managed care issues.
