Description:

Manages and facilitates the implementation of an assigned area of the PAANS Electronic Medical Records initiative for physician practices using resources from various project teams, IT departments, clinicians and vendor implementation teams. Provides liaison and subject matter expertise between the Director, Practice, vendors and health system departments.

  • Manages the planning, coordination and implementation of the Electronic Medical Record initiative including gathering requirements, developing workflow plans, testing, implementation, integration, training, and support of assigned project area.
  • Develops and maintains project plans and all associated written documentation tied to the project including creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Establishes work plan and collaborates with Director in determining staffing needs for all project phases.
  • Manages and ensures project deadlines are met, escalates issues for appropriate and timely resolution, and adheres to project management methodologies. Tracks performance, analyzes variances and reports on results.
  • Ensures adherence to established project scope, schedules and budgets. Reports on and recommends corrective action when necessary.
  • Facilitates communication of work progress across key stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and attainment of goals and deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Computer Science, Financial Services or related area as normally required through the completion of a Bachelor's degree required or applicable experience.
  • Experience with Core GE 4.0 Centricity Business Applications (BAR, EWS, PCM, TES) experience necessary.
  • A fundemental understanding of the Business Operation of Faculty Practice Management.
  • Knowledge of testing tools preferred.
  • IDX experience is a must.
