North Shore-LIJ supports veterans in the workplace and in our communities. For instance, North Shore-LIJ is an original member of Nassau County’s Welcome Back Warriors Program, which provides returning Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans with information on available employment opportunities. We also provide a pay differential program for our employees who are Reservists or members of the National Guard for their call of duty. North Shore-LIJ is also a proud partner of the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces, assisting veterans in finding gainful employment after their military service.
