Compensation for our physicians consists of a nationally competitive base salary plus a performance-based compensation program to provide incentive for outstanding performance.

North Shore-LIJ became a tobacco-free environment in 2009. Through its free smoking-cessation programs, including providing all employees free quit-medications and on-site counseling, more than 1,000 employees are now smoke-free.
